Art with a perfect result Order
You know, replacing a shower enclosure is not just any kind of job. It's like a small symphony of craftsmanship, where every note, every movement has its meaning and purpose. It all starts, of course, with demolition and removing the old enclosure. The old enclosure, whatever its condition, must make way for the new one. With tools in hand, with care and caution, the old tiles, shower tray, and, of course, glass walls must be removed first. Sometimes, it seems that the old tiles hold on like they’re nailed down, but with a bit of patience and experience, everything can eventually be removed properly. Under the old enclosure, there are often unpleasant surprises that every skilled craftsman must be able to handle. Sometimes it's moisture, sometimes damaged pipes, other times unexpected irregularities. But that is exactly what I love about this job. Every enclosure is unique, each one has its own hidden flaws that need to be solved. And I am the one who truly enjoys uncovering them and making things right.
After demolition comes preparation. In reality, this is the most important part of replacing a shower enclosure because the speed of the work and the final result depend on it. The surface must be perfectly clean, level, and dry. Any irregularity, any leftover adhesive, any small piece of old tiles can cause problems in the future. That’s why I always pay close attention to every detail. Next comes the installation of the new shower tray. It’s like a small ritual where technique blends with finesse and, of course, years of experience. The tray must be perfectly leveled to ensure proper water drainage. Every millimeter matters. With a spirit level in hand, with precision and confidence, I always set each tray in the best possible position.
Then comes the tile installation. This is the creative part where I can truly express myself. Each tile, every detail, every pattern must fit together perfectly. With a keen eye for detail, with precision and patience, I lay the tiles one by one. Sometimes it feels like it takes forever, but nothing can be rushed, and then that feeling when I see the finished work—it's priceless. After the tiles, it’s time to install the glass walls. This is the more technically demanding part, where precision meets strength. Every wall, every joint, every screw must be perfectly sealed to prevent water from leaking out. This is a step where I prefer to have an assistant because sometimes glass walls are quite heavy and must be positioned precisely.
Finally, it’s time to install the faucet and shower. This is the final step, where functionality meets aesthetics. Every faucet, every showerhead or hose, every little detail must come together beautifully. Again, everything must be properly connected, tightened, and sealed to prevent any water leakage. And then, it’s done. A brand-new shower enclosure—beautiful, functional, perfect. And I can proudly look at my work and say: “This is my job.” And that’s the feeling that keeps me passionate about this work. The feeling that I’ve created something, that I’ve changed something, that I’ve made someone happy. Replacing a shower enclosure is truly an art, and I am proud to consider myself an artist among craftsmen.
