This will help you avoid misunderstandings or even dissatisfaction. That’s why it’s better to think everything through beforehand, maybe even walk through all the rooms in the apartment or house, write down your requirements, and try not to forget anything. Only then will you be sure to be satisfied with the cleaning company’s services. Because if you only mention cleaning the kitchen counter, it’s unclear whether you also want the interior and organization of things inside cleaned, and it’s necessary to specify that you want the top surfaces cleaned as well. The same applies to the refrigerator and other higher furniture pieces.
The same goes for cupboards with dishes or drawers for cutlery. The stove, oven, microwave. Always remember, the more specific you are, the happier you will be. The same applies to windows, window frames, or blinds, someone might have a fireplace or stove at home, and if you want the glass cleaned, make sure to mention that. Also, consider whether you want carpets cleaned, upholstered furniture, curtains and drapes washed, floors mopped, or hardwood floors waxed. Don’t forget to specify whether, when cleaning the floors or bathroom or toilet tiles, the cleaning company should focus on the grout as well, as these need a good scrubbing occasionally, especially in high-traffic areas. In some homes, people surround themselves with various decorative items, or there may be pictures or photos hanging on the walls. Even these specific things should be mentioned in the contract, whether you only want the dust wiped from these decorations or if the washable ones should also be cleaned.
In some homes, for example, there are people who smoke, so I would recommend thoroughly cleaning all washable surfaces. These are important details when signing such a contract. If it’s a deep clean, it needs to be noticeable in the home. But don’t worry, cleaning companies are equipped with various devices and tools, so your home will definitely look amazing afterward. Most households do these deep cleans before holidays, like Christmas, Easter, or a wedding in the family.
